1934-A $5 Hawaii World War 2 Emergency Issue Federal Reserve Note Fr. 2302 - Very Fine PF-3/Cr.402 1840 Seated Liberty Dollar -These notes were issued for use on the Hawaiian islands during World War II. Should the island be invaded and large amounts of the currency captured the notes could be quickly demonetized. The $5 is considered the toughest of the four denominations.
