This photograph – as well as any I have taken in the last few years – hammers home the diversity of our planet
reinforced by the cactus plants
Then I just wanted some bad ass characters and finally - of course - a gay cop
it added another layer to the story and gave the image a sense of season to accompany the necessary sense of place
as every creature has it
