1862 $50 Exchange Bank of Virginia, Norfolk ~ VA-145-G11d ~ Net Fine $4 With a low mintage ofCommerce and Ceres seated upon wharf, ships and steamboat in distance beyond, top; Washington and Marshall flank, top center; Minerva with spear, lower right; small circle at left depicts cattle and sheep, men. VF crisp with good contrast, but with nicked edges and 10 or so fine pinholes.
