Germany, Wehrmacht. A Mint Turkestan Legion Sleeve Shield, First Pattern Newly Listed bearing chain-stitched red numerals “157”(Wehrmacht rmelschild fr Freiwillige Turkistan). Constructed of field grey rayon, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered multi coloured shield bearing a Turkic bow, topped by an inscription of TURKISTAN, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), a BeVo style insignia in unissued and mint condition.
